Hey everybody! Happy Wednesday! I hope you doing well and getting excited for 2021! For my final 2020 blog post, I’m sharing this Simplicity wrap skirt! I was inspired by the fabric to go with this project and so happy I did! I love the finished look of it! Let’s get into the details!
Black Gauze Tunic: mccalls 7969
Hey everybody! I hope you have a wonderful Christmas! I truly enjoyed my time with my family! We relaxed, watched movies, opened presents, ate a nice dinner, and had a great day together! It was perfect! So perfect I decided I’m just let the Christmas tree stay up to maybe February…..why not?! Lol!
Tencel Scuba Faux Wrap Dress: simplicity 9175
I whipped up this Simplicity 9175 pattern about a month ago. Although its a simple dress, I really liked the faux wrap detail on the front. I made the dress using this Tencel Modal Scuba from Melanated Fabrics. This fabric is so soft and its a great stable knit fabric. Think Ponte but lighter and softer! I love it so much!
Melanated Fabrics is OPEN!!
One of the things I’m most excited about is being able to create with fabrics from our store and share them with you. Everything thats in Melanated Fabrics was selected by Mimi G and I. We absolutely love selecting beautiful and quality fabrics to offer the community.
Multi Color Plaid Off The Shoulder Top: vogue 9316
Hey everybody! Happy Wednesday! I hope you’re having a great week! Fall season is here so it’s time for me to wrap up my summer sewing. Today, I’m sharing the last of my summer makes. I made this Vogue top a couple months ago but forgot to photograph and blog it. I’m a shoulder girl, so I’m always up for an off the shoulder garment. I really love the way it turned out so let’s get into the details.
Crinkle Rayon Sicily Slip Dress: Sewing Masin
Hey everyone! I hope you’re all doing well! Today I am sharing my second make of the Sicily Slip Dress by Sewing Masin! I told you all I love this dress and would be making more so I went through my fabric stash, found this fabric and started cutting! Since I’ve already giving a review here on my blog and on my YouTube channel for this dress, I’m just gonna share the pics for this one.

Hey everybody! I hope you’re doing well! Today, I am sharing my version of the super popular Zadie Jumpsuit by Paper Theory! I bought this pattern when it was first released but I’m just now getting around to making it! So many projects, so little time right! I think we all struggle with that! Now that I’ve finally made it, I love it! It’s super comfy and I love that it has no closure! Let’s get into the details…
Animal Print Satin Slip Dress: Sicily Slip Dress
Hey everybody! Happy Monday! I am so excited to share my latest make and some of the details and inspiration behind it. I have been on the hunt for over a year now for a slip dress similar to the one I saw the gorgeous Ada Rojas wearing at Mimi and Norris Ford wedding. I loved it so much! It wasn’t until I saw Sicily Slip Dress that was released last week that I knew, I’d finally found it! Let’s get into the details!
Multi Stripe Rib Knit Dress: simplicity 8595
Happy Friday everyone! Today I am sharing a quick and easy sew! After making my previous projects, the shirred bodice dress, the Mimi G x Simplicity pink cami and pants set, and Gilbert top and Pietra pants, I was ready for something super easy! Lol! I recently received from Rib Knit from La Finch Fabrics and immediately saw a t-shirt dress, so that’s what I made! Let’s get into the details.
Chambray Set: Gilbert Top & Pietra Pants
Hey everybody! Happy Thursday! I hope you’re doing well and staying safe! I shared this look yesterday on Instagram and now I’m sharing more of the details about it! Both of these garments are Indie patterns. The top is the Gilbert by Helen’s Closet and the pants are the Pietra by Closet Core Patterns. I made a joke that I was putting the two closets together when making this look lol! Overall, I really love them both together and as separates so let’s get into the details!
