Hey everybody! I hope you’re doing well! Today, I am sharing my version of the super popular Zadie Jumpsuit by Paper Theory! I bought this pattern when it was first released but I’m just now getting around to making it! So many projects, so little time right! I think we all struggle with that! Now that I’ve finally made it, I love it! It’s super comfy and I love that it has no closure! Let’s get into the details…

the details

Pattern Used:  I used the Zadie Jumpsuit from Paper Theory. I added the sleeves to my jumpsuit.

Pattern Description: The Zadie Jumpsuit is a relaxed and easy to wear one piece that comes with the option of wide 3/4 length sleeves, or sleeveless with a dropped shoulder. It wraps around the body and fastens with a tie so there is no need for buttons or a zip - making it quick and to easy sew, and quick and easy to get on and off. The legs are cut wide and skim above the ankle. There are deep slant pockets on the front, with small pleats at the waist on the front and back. The neck edge is finished with a bias binding. *description from Paper Theory

Pattern Sewing Level: Pattern level is for Advanced Beginner.

What size did you cut?: I cut the 16 for the bust and waist, and merge to the 18 for the hips.

Were the instructions easy to follow? Yes, the instruction were easy to follow.

What did you like or dislike about the pattern? I love that this jumpsuit is drafted without closures. It’s really relaxed and a comfy jumpsuit to wear. The pattern has a lot of ease in it, and the crotch does sit low. Because of that I would recommend sewing up a muslin to make adjustments. I don’t mind the oversized, low crotch look but I know that’s not everyone style. I’ve read reviews where some sewists went down two sizes, and others adjusted the crotch so definitely stitch a quick muslin before cutting into your fabric.

Did you make any pattern alterations: I did not make any adjustments to this pattern.

Where did you purchase the fabric(s)? My fabric was gifted to me from The Fabric Store Online. Y’all know I LOVE this store! Their fabrics are just amazing.

Did you record a sew along for this pattern? Yes, I did. You can watch the sew along below!

Would you sew it again? Yes, I would. I can myself making this in another Chambray and Linen!

Would you recommend it to others? Yes, I would!

Well, that is all for today! Thank you so much for stopping by my blog! Until next time….

Blessings,
