Mommy and Me Top for Mother's Day: Look 2: Fashion Fabrics Club
Hey everybody! This post is part two for a Mother’s Day look that I created in collaboration with Fashion Fabrics Club. The first look is what I’m calling our “dress up” look! This top here is for the relax and play times. During the day, it’s usually Justice and I hanging out together! Target, Commissary, and the park are a few of our frequent stops. On those days, when we’re just running errands and playing, we tend to be in a tee and jeans. I wanted to create us an easy top that we can twin in so I decided to make Simplicity 8856 Dress and Tunic pattern.
I cut the Medium for me and the size 3 for Justice. This top came together really easy! I actually sewed them both at the same time so that made creating these really quick! For fabric, I used this Bright Pink Linen Blend. You all know I’m a HUGE fan of linen so I excited to create with it! This fabric is a Linen, Cotton and Lycra blend, and it will work great with tops, dresses, and pants!
Here are some other Linen options available at Fashion Fabrics Club below. I just love these Linens! I could totally see a dress, top and a pair of pants from these options!
Well, that’s all y’all for my Mother’s Day makes. Special thank to Fashion Fabrics Club for gifting me these fabrics and thank you so much for stopping by! I hope you have a wonderful weekend! Until next time…
Blessings
