Black Floral Off The Shoulder Dress: mccall’s 8092
Hi everyone! Today I am sharing a super easy off the shoulder dress! Every now and then you need a project you can stitch up without needing to look at the instructions and this was that for me! This dress comes together really quick and if you have a fabric in your stash with a print similar to mine or one you don’t want to disrupt too much with darts and seam lines, this is a great summer dress for it! Let’s get into the details!
the details
Pattern Used: I used McCalls 8092 for the dress and I made View B with C sleeves.
Pattern Description: Misses’ peasant dress, elastic neck, flutter and long elastic cuff sleeves. Tie back belt. *description from McCalls website.
Pattern Sewing Level: The sewing level for this pattern is Very Easy.
What size did you cut?: I cut the M for this dress. This dress has a lot of ease in it, so take a look at the finished garment measurements before cutting your pattern.
Were the instructions easy to follow? Yes they were easy. I did look a them for the sew along I recorded and they were easy to follow and understand.
What did you like or dislike about the pattern? I’m a fan of ALL off the shoulder garments so I like that about the dress. I don’t have any dislikes about the pattern.
Did you make any pattern alterations: I did not make any adjustments to the dress.
Where did you purchase the fabric(s)? I purchased this fabric last year from Joann. Its a Crinkle Rayon and I really love the print. I was either going to make a tier skirt or this dress with this fabric.
Did you record a sew along for this pattern? Yes I did! You can watch the sew along here!
Would you sew it again? Yes! It’s a great dress to pull on for spring and summer!
Would you recommend it to others? Yes, I would!
Thank you so much for stopping by my blog! Until next time….
