Golden Flower Top: McCalls 7573

Hey everybody! Happy Monday! I hope you all had a fantastic weekend and ready to make this week amazing! I've finally started to move into Fall sewing over here and I'm really excited. I have a lot of staples on my sewing list and I can't wait to start working on them! For now though, lets chat about a McCalls 7573 which happens to be a good top pattern with views that are great for fall!

You all know I've been on a mission to make more tops! I definitely think I achieved that for spring/summer, but my Fall tops are trash so I have more work to do! LOL! I came across McCalls 7573 in my pattern stash and initially kicked myself for not making View B earlier! LOL! Its so cute! But then noticed View C & D and that they have a bit more shoulder coverage, so I figured it'll be great for transitioning into cooler months.

I went with View D and cut the 14 in this pattern. I didn't make any adjustments to it! The fabric I used is this really pretty Golden Flower Challis from Measure Fabrics! Its so lightweight, drapes beautifully and great to sew with!

The top is really easy to make. Sewing the narrow hems take up the most time, but overall its a great top pattern! I plan to revisit it and make it again soon!

I know I went a little photo heavy but I liked them all! LOL! Thanks so much for stopping by today! Until next time....

Blessings
