My Dream Mustard Linen Set: Simplicity 8889

Hey everybody! I hope you’re having a great weekend! I don’t normally post on Sundays, but I wanted to share this look because both sew along videos are now up on Mimi G Youtube channel. Why is that important you ask?! Because I’M DOING THE SEW ALONGS for her new Simplicity Summer Patterns 8889 & 8890. Y’all I can not tell y’all how excited and thrilled I am for this opportunity!

To be able to do what I love and share it on Mimi G platform, sewing her patterns no less! My mind is blown! I literally posted a week ago that I’m going to continue recording, editing, and uploading because one day I’ll be able to record videos from brands like Creativebug etc. Not even 3 three days later, I was asked to step in for Mimi while she travelled! WOW! Forget Creativebug LOL! I’m on MIMI G!!! You already know who I’m giving all the glory too! Nobody but GOD!! He’s literally putting my name in rooms my feet haven’t entered yet!!!!

This post is merely to show you the final pics of Simplicity 8889 View A & B, because they are not at the end of the videos. My fabric is a linen (my favorite) from my local Joann. For size I cut the 16 in the top, 18 for the pants and made no adjustments to either. I hope you are inspired to make your own and if so, please sew along with me in the videos! I did my BEST work, and I hope it shows!
