Cold Shoulder Viscose Crepe Dress : Butterick 6462

Hey everybody!!! I hope your week is off to a fantastic start! I've been super busy getting more patterns sewn, videos edited, not to mention sewing for my trip to HAWAII!!! Yes! I'm so excited! Husband and I will be celebrating our 10 year anniversary this year, and we both agreed that it was time to get away!! Years past we really haven't been able to take trips due to deployments, pregnancies, so this year we're making up for all of that!! But for now lets chat about this dress!!

Today I'm sharing with you all my new favorite!! LOL! It seems I have a favorite every week right?!! Butterick 6462 is a great pattern. It has views for tops, a dress and a jumpsuit! I went with View B. I would not recommend this pattern to brand new beginners. The facing around the shoulder and front flap could be a little confusing but keep this on your list to buy, because as you sew and build your skills, this is definitely one to make!!

My favorite detail besides the shoulder cut outs, elastic casing at the end of the sleeve, and the curved hem!! I love it and I can't wait to wear it on vacation!! Fabric used was a viscose crepe that I purchased last year on my trip to LA. I bought it from The Fabric Store on La Brea! Not sure if they still have this exact color in stock but I'm sure you'll be able to find something similar! Absolutely love the the feel and drape of this fabric!! I plan to buy more this year in June!!

Enjoy the rest of your week, and stay with God! He'll direct your path!

Blessings
