favorite jumpsuit: know me 2063 | my pattern
Hi friends! Today I am sharing a new pattern in my Know Me Pattern collection! I am so excited for this pattern and can not wait to make at least 1-2 more! If you know the patterns in my collection, then you know I have a dress, a skirt, a pair a pants, and a couple of tops. It’s only right to add a jumpsuit next lol! I told you all once before that my goal is to have a collection of patterns that are not just great for everyone (most of my patterns go up to a size 38W) but will be also be great for a capsule wardrobe.
When it was time to submit for this pattern, I went through a few options for the bodice. One option was to not have a collar on it. I also thought about not have the bodice wrap and just have a center seam bodice. In the end, I’m glad and really happy with the final design. I love anything that wraps (including burritos lol) so this jumpsuit is so me! I also love oversized yet comfortably fitting garments. The bodice on this jumpsuit is a little oversized but the bottoms just fall nicely over the hips.
One thing I wish I had changed with this pattern is the closure. When I was sewing my sample, I thought to myself, I don’t know if I love the two button closure at the waist but it slipped my mind to request a change. Luckily it’s an easy fix. If the button closure at the waist is not your jam, you can easily change them for snaps instead.
This pattern ME2063 is a romper and jumpsuit that features a notched collar with a back elastic casing, side pockets, front fly zipper and tie belt. It’s an Average pattern and this one is available in size 10-28W. You can get it in a paper pattern or PDF.
For the cover, I made the pink jumpsuit in a Linen and the romper in a Rayon.
Well that is all for today friends! I hope you like this pattern and can see yourself in it. You can shop all of my patterns on Simplicity.com. Until next time,
Blessings,
